I've use this Hand Caulking Guns almost daily for the past few weeks with no issuses. I can see me using it for a long time. Well made and works great! Some of the stuff I push through it is very thick and I only have the tip cut to an 8mm opening. That can get to be a sruggle and why I bought the extra thust model. If not for that it would be 5 stars. At 12mm it pushes thick stuff just fine!

A fiberglass reinforced nylon gun designed for maximum durability. Comes complete with a retractable puncture device and ladder belt hook. Auto release mechanism prevents continued caulk flow when the trigger is released. Nondrip 10 oz. cartridge cradle.

I think these Hand Caulking Guns are great. They are incredibly light, but durable. The caulking Guns doesn't continue to flow out as badly as other guns when you let go of the trigger. They are great when you are up on a ladder because you can just toss them to the ground without worrying about damange. They are also very inexpensive.

Tajima CNV-100LT 1/10-Gallon Convoy Lite Feather Weight Caulk Gun

Tajima CNV-100LT 1/10-Gallon Convoy Lite Feather Weight Caulk Gun

* Ultra light - 37 Percent less weight than other guns
* Hassle-free reloading
* Positive control
* Smooth twin thrust friction feed flow control
* Auto flow stop

Tajima CNV-100LT Ultra Light 10 Oz. Caulk Gun. Ultra-light caulking gun, 37% less weight than comparable-sized guns. Unique barrel removes with a twist for fast and easy tube-changes. Full release of the handle automatically disengages plunger, stops flow. Barrel access ports allow tube / nozzle angle rotation to match surface. Ladder hook and eyelet to attach to a safety strap

I use a lot of silicone cartridges for my hobby and in home repairs, but hated the heavy and clunky caulking guns which haven't changed in design since invented by the Romans. Not only did they hurt my hand, but they'd drip and were difficult to change cartridges. My last one would waste about 1/3 of the silicone as well. How it escaped I don't know, but I uploaded a comparison pic.

This Hand Caulking Guns is a dream to use. It's lightweight, but the plastic seems tough and the build quality good. No more drips and it's comfortable in my hand. Changing tubes is also a snap - just twist off the barrel and reload. I can't think of anything I don't like about it, frankly. If it breaks or jams up on me I'll update my review, but so far so good. I recommend it for the average homeowner.

Tajima CNV-100SP Convoy Super Rotary Caulk Gun with Auto Flow Stop Reviews :
I use a caulking gun a lot in my remodeling work. The times I have used this tool so far it has worked very well. It does not continue to flow when the handle is released and the extra long barrel is very convenient. It has a sturdy feel to it and if it holds up to long term use will be worth the extra money it costs for a caulking gun.

I've been renovating a fairly large house for many years, and I've found over the years that caulk is one of my best friend for fixing mistakes and filling gaps left over from previous shoddy work. (Sad, but true unfortunately.)

In the time that I started the work and up until now, I've gone through a number of "home center" bought caulk guns. The cheap stamped/bent sheet-metal just doesn't hold up with the stresses of continued use. After bending my last one recently (right at the handle), I decided based on a review I read in Fine Homebuilding to give the Tajima CNV-100SP a try.

Even after reading some of the less than warm reviews on Amazon, I went ahead and purchased it anyway expecting the worse and thinking anything has to be better than the cheap caulk guns I've used in the past.

All I can say is that after using it a number of times, I'm amazed at how well this works!

In the past, caulking has been a two man job for me. I apply the caulk then I quickly hand the caulk gun over to my wife to have her put her finger over the end so the caulk doesn't fly out all over the place while I smooth it out with my finger. Then I do it all over again until the job is finished usually wasting a ton of caulk since the gun doesn't auto-release the pressure on the tube after you let go of the handle.

With the Tajima, it does exactly what it says - when you release the handle you can just put the gun down without the fear of caulking coming out of the tip. I was worried about this after reading one of the reviews that it wouldn't work, but I'm happy to report it that it works perfectly!

COX 51002 Portland 34-Ounce Manual Bulk Applicator Reviews :
I bought this Caulking gun for road repairs while on a job in Michigan. The product functioned well and performed as expected. I would recommend this product to all the only downside is I would have loved a cataloge from the company with different applicator tips and the such for the product, as it was I had to modify a tip to suite my purpose but then found online the correct tip I needed. I would buy this product again in a hearbeat though. 2WPS4K793NFD
A very good product, would love it to find more accessories by this company.

I have been a siding contractor for almost 10 years. This caulk gun hands down is the very best of the best. It doesn't look like much but sometimes the most simple design is the best. I get about 4-5 months out of each gun. But for the money thats not to bad. I run about 100 tubes of OSI quad a month. This is the only gun that I can lay the most perfect bead with.(and I have tried them all)

The Wexford Skeleton caulk gun performed exactly as promised! I am always happy with the quality of all the COX caulk guns I have purchased!

Caulk Master Professional Air Powered Dispensing Gun Reviews :

Like many people, for me, caulking used to rank right up there with root canals.

Manual guns produced results that could best be described as "Pollock-esque". The Black and Decker unit was SLOW, produced an annoying whine/groan/shriek the whole time, ate batteries like some massive battery eating thing, and ... did I mention SLOW? I tried a Kobalt pneumatic unit. The best that could be said is that it was only $28. It was rated at 60 psi, but even at 60 psi, the unit could barely push out a bead of silicone caulk. Oh wait, it did have another redeeming feature, it was over 90 degrees outside and the pressure relief valve produced a powerful cooling breeze even when the compressor was set to produce only 30 psi.

I finally broke down and bought the Caulk Master PG110. I should not have waited. When you press the trigger, you get a perfect bead. When the trigger is released, the caulk stops. So simple, yet apparently so difficult to accomplish.

If you have a compressor and have more than the most minute amount of caulking to do, this is the tool to get.

Reviews :
The "Caulk Master pg110", is an air powered caulking gun that allows cranking up the air pressure to a maximum of 100 p.s.i., much higher than most of the pneumatic caulking guns on the market. The "Caulk Master" is a lighter tool compared to the "Campbell Hausfeld", is nicely machined, has a larger and easier to squeeze trigger, and has a three foot air hose "pigtail" ready to accept a 1/4 quick disconnect coupling. The good news for us is that the "Caulk Master pg110" pushes the heavier 3M Marine Caulking with ease (cranked up to around sixty p.s.i.). The "Caulk Master pg110" was more expensive than the Campbell Hausfeld unit, but hopefully will give many good years of service.

Industrial Caulk Gun - Si300 Dripless Caulk Gun Reviews :
Bought one of these years ago at Dunn Edwards. Went back a few weeks ago and there gone did some seaching and found them at Amazon. I have tried damn near every gun out there and none compare. The guys in the shop agree. It cuts the tip, clears the seal, has a clip you put up for a no drip & slower feed or leave it off for speed.
Buy it you won't be dissapointed. By the way the old gun is still in use we needed 2 more because the guys hate the others.

These are fantastic caulking guns. We are a countertop fabricator so when installing we are caulking all the time. These guns work great.

Milwaukee 6562-21 14.4-Volt Caulk Adhesive Gun with 10-Ounce Carriage Kit Reviews :
I am highly pleased with this product. Makes caulking a breeze to do. Its adjustable speeds allow for extremely fast beads of caulk, either thick or thin, to be applied with no problem. Battery life is excellent with it lasting longer than I originally estimated. Re-charging is easy and can be done at night when the device is NOT in use. Since the gun is motorized, IT IS heavier than conventional hand squeeze approaches so you can tire fast, however; it is still far superior to utilizing those hand squeeze designs to get the job done.
I would highly recommend this caulk gun. It will handle anything you test it with. Even urethane. Maybe just alittle heavy, but it is a Milwaukee. Built strong to take abuse. Besides, it will just build alittle more muscle!

I started using this gun this weekend gluing subflooring down to floor joists on a log home I'm building. I'll admit I was worried after reading some reviews, but it performed remarkably well. I bought it for the log installation, because I'm 62 years old and wasn't looking forward to hand-pumping a bead on each of 33 rows of logs. I was using 30 ounce tubes, and all I had to do different was to add the second supplied rubber gasket to the one already in the gun. I'm happy!
Reviews :
This caulking gun is great. I put 50 + tubes of liquid nail through it and it made my project so much easier. Besides, you can tell your friends you have a caulkmaster and that is just too funny. Great product.

am one of those people who are just plain bad at caulking, put on about half a tube, and then smear the excess on my pants leg. This product allows me to draw a perfect bead, thin or wide depending on who hard you squeeze the trigger. It's heavyer with the larger tubes but it works great for putting down construction adhesive to lay subflooring. If you have a compressor on the job you need this gun.

Homax 4610 Pneumatic ll Spray Texture Gun Reviews :
A great little Hand Caulking Guns  with a great little price. I was going to buy the Wagner PowerTex, but I found this little gem. I was a little skeptical of a gun that only cost about 50 bucks, but as it turns out, it worked great. I didnt buy the homax powder, but mixed my own texture. I used the USG Spray Texture QT Medium Poly (cottage cheese finish). I mixed it with 4.5 gallons of water with a mud mixing wand.
I had to practice a little on an old scrap piece of drywall a few times. I tested the psi on my compressor, nozzle adjustments, and spacing from the drywall to the gun tip. I would practice and then scrape it off with a 12 inch knife, then try again. I ended up using the 3C setting with about 40 psi and it worked fine. The spray was a little messy at first, but after turning up the psi to 40 it sprayed "cleaner". Cleanup was easy and I got about 3 rooms done in a few hours. Word to the wise, don't fill the hopper up all the way because when you tilt it to shoot the ceiling it will spill on your head. A good little sprayer considering it was going to cost me $45 to rent a sprayer at the local rental store and I got it for a few dollars more. I used mine on my finished basement and it worked out great. I recommend it to any DIY'er!

Reviews :
I am very happy with this product. It was very easy to use and cleanup was simple. As long as you keep the buildup wiped away while in use it does a fantastic job.

I found this spray gun really easy to use. I like that it sets up and cleans up so easily. It took about five minutes of practice and tinkering before I found the right setting for what I wanted to do. I did find that I needed to up the pressure from my compressor to 40-45psi from the recommended 30-35psi. The premixed texture worked fine but make sure to keep it moving into the gun. I had to keep shaking it down, especially when tilting the gun up towards the top of the wall. I didn't like the cheap plasticy construction of the gun but it worked well. Funny thing is it's hard to find a store that sells both the gun and the texture bottles. It took me a while to find both. Overall, well worth the $32 I paid for it at Home Depot.

Reviews :
I'm writing this review because I did not see any here at amazon. I think this is an excellent texture Hand Caulking Guns . It's light and the optional 3 liter hopper can has a lid. That'll be very useful when you're doing ceilings, especially vaulted ones where you have to keep your other hand on the ladder.

I did not use my 3 liter hopper can on my latest project. I ended up getting the pre-mixed mud jugs for one of my rooms that had to be finished at the time. It did not clog on me using their pre-mixed texture mud.

Anyway, this thing was a blast to use. I sure am looking forward to using this thing again on the other rooms, though I'd probably mix my own mud when the time comes (its a lot cheaper). Taping sucked. Sanding sucks. But using this gun to texture was quite fun. Cleaning was easy too, just run it through water while using a brush and you're all set.

COX 21001 Wexford II 10.3-Ounce Cartridge Manual Skeleton Fiberglass Caulk Gun Reviews :
Just like the picture. Relatively sturdy construction. The moving parts fit well together and the operation is as smooth as you could expect from this type of design. Nothing fancy here, but works well.
I bought this caulking gun to remodel my bathroom. I did extensive research on caulk guns before I decided and bought this one, and I can say that this is a really good caulking gun. The weight and handling are the best features of this product. The quality plastic makes it possible for the gun to be fairly lighter than the metal guns. The black poking needle thing can be easily removed and attached if desired. I have no regrets of purchasing this gun and am sure that it will last me a long time, not that I will you it a lot
Reviews:
This is a nice, lightweight caulking gun. The fiberglass frame is sturdy enough, but doesn't scratch surrounding surfaces as a metal one does.
This is a great caulk gun... I didn't realize it wasn't metal when I ordered it (guess I didn't read very close) but that hasn't been an issue. I've probably used 20 or more tubes of caulk with it now and its still working great.

It does a good job of releasing the pressure when you let go... if you are pumping hard on the caulk you might still have to hit the thumb-release to keep the caulk from oozing out. But during normal use it usually doesn't "leak" when you set the gun down.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it doesn't have a way of cutting the tip off the tube. My old caulk gun (that died after 5 years of use) had a spot on the handle that would cut the tip off the tube. Not a big deal since you are likely to have a razor knife with you anyway. But a potential improvement for the product.

Homax 4205 DIY Spray Texture Gun Reviews :

I bought this after having considerably trying results using the Homax aresol cans of knock-down texture. I would rate the aresol cans as a complete design failure and a waste of money, unless you are patching VERY small areas with a fine texture. Though the results of this item were a step up from the aresol cans, I can tell you that the performance left something to be desired. First, the premixed jugs are expensive, and regardless what I did, they seemed consistently 'runny' -- simply too thin if you were doing verticle surfaces. Also, be prepared to get a workout if you need to cover any kind of area (beyond a square foot or two). I found that the unit itself could have used a side handle (light a bigger drill or rotohammer) when plunging the cylinder.

I did get decent results, but after modifying their instructions. You have to be around a foot to a foot and a half away get the texture to make it to the wall, and you must let the texture set-up for about 5 minutes. I found it to work best on the ceiling patches than the wall. Lastly, be prepared by masking off more area than you think, because this thing is messy!! If your going to have to cover more than small patches, strongly consider a air compressor / hopper gun combo.
